Position Summary
The Process Technician will support the plant’s success by working with the team to ensure the manufacturing process performs on a daily basis and meets its goals. The primary function is to ensure the equipment and processes do not restrict production.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure OEE (Operating Efficiency), Quality and Performance of KPIs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment down time issues.
* Provide technical, hands-on support to the engineering and maintenance team for installing and launching manufacturing processes.
* Install, repair, and maintain machinery and/or equipment.
* Ensure all machines function properly through troubleshooting and maintenance service.

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities
* Recommend design improvements for current and proposed manufacturing equipment.
* Perform equipment capability studies.
* Develop process specific operating and work instructions.
* Train production associates on proper operating, safety procedures.
* Ensure PM and AM completed per schedule.
* Perform other activities as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
* Academic degree Associates or substitution of practical experience
* Major: Manufacturing technology, Automation or related degree
* Language English required
* Years of industry experience: 3 years
* Years of management experience: 0 years

Specific Knowledge & Skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical, pneumatic, and servo control circuits
* Demonstrated knowledge of basic mechanical systems, fixtures and tooling
* Familiarity with automated assembly equipment, particularly experience with HMI, PLC, and/or Robot for troubleshooting.
* Understanding of basic manufacturing processes - press/ force, torque, soldering, assembly.
* Ability to use hand gages including calipers, micrometers
* Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
* Basic machine shop skills
* Proficiency with MS Office applications
* Advanced problem-solving skills
* Green Belt preferred

Physical Requirement

* Excessive standing, walking, bending, stopping, squatting, sitting, climbing, twisting, repetitive motion.
* Lifting products, equipment, packages or miscellaneous items up to thirty (30) pounds unassisted and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
* Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools
