Job Title: Process Technician - Plastic Fabrication (3rd Shift)

Opportunity Overview:
Join a leading plastic fabrication company in Lexington, NC, as a Process Technician! This permanent, direct-hire position offers competitive pay and operates on a 3rd shift schedule. You will play a vital role in starting up and maintaining molding machines, driving production efficiency, and ensuring top-notch quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Startup & Maintenance: Initiate and maintain molding machines by inputting data per approved setup sheets.
• Quality Assurance: Submit first and last piece articles to the Quality Department for thorough review and approval.
• Process Monitoring: Use the Daily Verification of Setup Monitoring Sheet to monitor and verify process setups throughout your shift.
• Address Quality Issues: Proactively stop production or delivery to resolve quality concerns as they arise.
• Optimize Operations: Ensure all machines operate at approved cycle rates and troubleshoot any machine alarms to reduce downtime.
• Mold Setup & Documentation: Set molds, assist with documenting changeover times, and check auxiliary equipment for proper functionality.
• Project Management: Complete projects assigned by the Plant Manager or Shift Supervisor while maintaining the Quality Management System.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate safety equipment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with plastic molding machines and familiarity with quality control processes.
• Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience operating auxiliary equipment.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to manage various tasks and projects as needed.
