General Information
- Located in Phoenix, AZ
- 2nd shift - 2pm - 10pm with a paid lunch
- Direct Hire opportunity with the company.
As the Process Technician you would be responsible for overseeing the teardown and setup of injection molding machines for each production run.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Understands processing of different grades of plastics to make quality parts.
- Help with samples of new molds and materials.
- Perform color changes and material changes efficiently.
- Perform first piece inspections of finished parts after a changeover.
- Follows safety policies and LOTO procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Records data, creates set up sheets, maintains change logs.
- Keeps work areas clean and organized.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Ability to use Shot scope or other production monitoring software.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in injection molding with mold setup and troubleshooting experience.
- Prior experience working on molding machines such as Husky, BMB, Van Dorn and/or Milacron are a plus.
- Lift and handle 55 lbs occasionally, good hand/eye coordination, good mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer knowledge, good communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
