Position Summary
Under close supervision, processes and/or generates policy non-renewals, cancellations and basic endorsements. Performs clerical function according to established schedules and deadlines. Acquires a fundamental knowledge of all lines of business.
- The successful candidate will work at the Knowledge Park Office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Processes and/or generates policy non-renewals and cancellations. Enters data into various systems and forwards forms to necessary areas as required.
- Types information from various source documents for various lines of business, including applications, renewals, endorsements, cancellations and inspection requests.
- Performs various clerical activities as required. Proofreads all typed data for accuracy and inserts proper enclosures as necessary.
- Reviews Policyholder records to verify coverage. Responds to state departments regarding coverage.
- Processes changes using the policy management system. Properly handles exceptions and records changes as required. Verifies changes as required.
- Receives, opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Acquires and applies a fundamental knowledge of proper mailing procedures and identification of attachments/enclosures for all lines of business.

High school diploma, or GED, required. Two years of clerical or administrative experience required. Working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software preferred.
