Job Details:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and results-driven AP/Procurement Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of our accounts payable and procurement operations. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in managing AP/Procurement functions, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of shared services. With a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our AP/Procurement processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable and procurement department, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the AP/Procurement function.
3. Negotiate terms with vendors to secure advantageous terms, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
4. Collaborate with other departments to integrate AP/Procurement function with shared services, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
5. Prepare and present reports detailing AP/Procurement activities and performance to senior management.
6. Monitor and manage department budget, forecast future needs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, and stay updated on current industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in AP/Procurement management role in the finance industry, with a strong focus on invoice processing, vendor management, shared services, and negotiation.
3. Proven ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships.
4. Strong knowledge of AP/Procurement systems, procedures, and best practices.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
8. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with AP/Procurement software.
