Role and Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Analyst/Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Director of Procurement in developing and executing strategy within the procurement function. This is a very visible position within the company, and has interactions with the Chief Financial Officer, Americas Region, and the commercial business leads. The ideal Candidate for this position will administer and support:
• Identifying requirements by interacting with the business operations and by keeping current on industry trends and best practices
• Benchmark and analyse supplier contracts
• Conduct monthly business review with suppliers to maintain a high service level for the operation
• Execute strategic initiatives as assigned, that drive margin accretion through cost savings and portfolio simplification/ rationalization
• Built and analyse BI dashboard with different sources to consolidate suppliers spend • Fleet management coordination and support for N.A
• North America P-Card & Travel management
• North America E-Procurement management
• Ensure supplier quality issues are investigated to establish root-cause and corrective action plans are implemented.
• Compliance with annual budget savings
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, engineering or another related field is required.
• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills - Ability to slice/dice data and make inferences/recommendations is core to this role
• 2 - 5 years' experience with an emphasis on sourcing and data analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English
Nice-to-have Skills:
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Good familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Demonstrated track record of execution: Meeting operating commitments and driving year over year business improvements.
