We are searching for a talented Procurement Associate
Hours: Per Diem
Shift: Day shift
Location: Southcoast Business Center - Fairhaven, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Responsibilities:Position reports to the Manager, Purchasing or designee, process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, using existing equipment/procedures. Promptly notify Buyers and/or Managers of PO discrepancies, backorders, pricing issues, etc. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of transmitting purchase orders via electronic means, telephone, email and fax. Professionally greet sales representatives, visitors, and other hospital personnel, both personally and via telephone.Qualifications:
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training.
- Very good interpersonal, organizational and computer/data management skills required.
- Demonstrate competence in Microsoft Windows software, i.e. Word and knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Must be proficient in typing.
- A minimum of one (1) year related experience is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
