About the Job
Scope of Job:
Responsible for distribution, inventory operations and procedures in maintenance warehousing and storage of spare parts and equipment. All functions are performed in accordance with departmental and LEGOLAND Florida Resort policies, practices and procedures. Performs other maintenance functions within theme park and assists other maintenance MCs as deemed necessary by maintenance supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
- Keeps safety as #1 priority.
- Issues tools and supplies to specific theme park departments and controls the return and appropriate charge out.
- Maintains a record for everything that leaves the stockroom.
- Maintains a tool and parts check system.
- Ensures all parts and supplies are stored in proper referenced locations and all parts have proper identification numbers.
- Visually checks and inspects returned hand tools and ensures that power tools aretested.
- Ensures that all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly always.
- Recognizes equipment that needs repair, replacing, or adjusting.
- Responsible for protecting materials, parts, supplies and tools against damage, waste, etc.
- Performing quality checks on received, stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards.
- Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft, such as missing inventory since last count.
- Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.
- Implementing loss prevention programs to prevent theft.
- Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs.
- Researching the accuracy of product details and testing new products.
- Receives delivered items and inspects physical condition of equipment, then forwards to proper departments. Unloads, unpacks, and verifies incoming and outgoing shipments and checks against purchase orders and shipping papers.
- Disposes of waste packing materials.
- Always follows LEGOLAND Florida Resort policies and procedures.
- Liaison with fellow maintenance Model Citizens and other departments.
- Attends staff meetings for purpose of informing and training.
- Assist with the stock room inventory Hexagon (INFOR) implementation.
- Maintain open line of communication with Expeditors, ride manufacturers and suppliers.
Health & Safety:

They must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake. Must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. When incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for sustained periods of time to attend on-site and off-site meetings, perform paperwork activities, travel, and drive.
- Intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the park site and interact with employees.
- Finger dexterity sufficient to complete paperwork activities and to use a computer.
- Visual acuity sufficient to read written materials, to complete paperwork activities, and to drive an automobile.
- Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by telephone.
Work Environment:
- Various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
- Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
- Work at height.
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, to support park operations.
- Must have valid driver’s license, safe driving record, proof of insurance and be willing to utilize own vehicle for business purposes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Attendance is a mandatory function of this job.
Background and Experience:
Must have excellent arithmetic skills, oral and written communication skills. Requires strong analytical skills as well as a detail-oriented work ethic. Strong typing and computer skills are necessary. Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams. CMMS software Hexagon, Coupa and Netsuite is extremely helpful. Effective organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to self-initiate and coordinate tasks. Excellent follow up skills, flexibility and the ability to multi-task are required. Must possess the ability to work efficiently with a variety of people with multiple priorities and diverse work styles.
Previous storage room and warehouse procedure experience preferred. Knowledge of tools and supplies associated with ride & facility maintenance and construction preferred. Demonstrated ability to follow directions effectively, and to observe and remember details. Ability to maintain afriendly, polite and customer service-oriented demeanour is required.
Education:
A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three years related experience and/or training is required. Some college course work is preferred.
Pay Range:Compensation between USD $18.00/Hr.-USD $22.00/Hr.
