Summary of Position:
The Data Management Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the data on all direct materials (raw materials & packaging, etc.), Intermediates, and finished products are entered and maintained in Quaker Houghton systems. Typically uses data from standard processes currently in use at Quaker Houghton (JDE system, database software and spreadsheets).
- Maintain all material data in the QH system, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all information
- Maintain QH RM global master list and the Finished good log for new codes assigned.
- Monitor and reviewing databases and correcting errors or inconsistencies. Inform supervisor of inconsistencies or issues
- Follow all processes via Standard operations procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI), as well as offer continuous improvement to develop best practices and efficiencies in assignments
- Raw material introduction process (RMIP): Update all relevant resources (master lists, JDE etc.) as indicated by each RMIP. New product introduction process (NPI): Update all relevant resources (master lists, JDE etc.) as indicated by each NPI
- Work with all internal and external stakeholders as needed to ensure the accuracy of information on direct materials , intermediates and finished products
- Other duties as required
Work Environment:
- Typical light office work
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0 – 2 years of general industry experience (chemicals, petrochemicals, etc.) including experience in procurement or comparable valuable experience from other areas (marketing, sales, etc.)
Required Skills:
- Managing multiple priorities & tasks; Strong time management capabilities
- Proven to work under deadlines and deliver successful outcomes.
- Strong Excel skills
