In order to support its growth in North America, ATEME is recruiting a Procurement & Logistics Manager.
Mission:
Ensure efficient management and execution of ATEME's procurement and logistics operations in North America to support the company's growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform procurement activities and manage logistics operations, including receiving shipments, unpacking, documenting, communicating, packing, and shipping goods.
- Monitor suppliers' activities, update the supplier database, conduct market research to identify potential risks, and mitigate supply chain issues, quality issues, and vendor reliability concerns.
- Negotiate with purchasers, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely and accurate procurement to meet operational needs.
- Generate and analyze performance indicators for procurement and logistics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data integrity, manage product stocks, including replenishment and basic repairs (RMA), and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, shipping delays, and vendor performance to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between departments, aligning procurement and logistics strategies with company goals.
- Seek opportunities for process improvement, implementing enhancements to procurement and logistics processes, and utilizing centralized management software (ERP) to streamline activities.
Experience and Required Professional Skills:
- Proven experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably within the tech or video delivery industries.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with procurement and logistics software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
