Responsibilities:

• Forecast, plan, and purchase products to meet customer demand while optimizing costs, quality, and delivery times.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Analyze product trends and turnover to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop and recommend vendor programs that increase profitability.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders for assigned vendors.
• Analyze sales data to identify slow-moving products and develop exit strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within a distribution or retail environment.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
