As the Procurement Supervisor, you will perform an integral part of the purchasing function in the achievement of operational objectives. You'll take a proactive approach in reviewing current systems and procedures, making recommendations, and implementing changes while leading key categories forward in securing quality suppliers of materials and components (covering price, delivery, and quality targets). What you'll do on a typical day:

• Document and capture all scopes and required specifications
• Incorporate and implement any new systems which will improve the process
• Lead project management supporting the implementation of new contracts
• Work creatively with the buyers to ensure they are directing the sites correctly
• Travel to site locations when needed

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience
• 3 years of experience in a purchasing role
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Experience in direct supplier or commodity management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• 5 years of experience in a purchasing role
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in direct supplier and commodity management for a specific number of suppliers
• Modern procurement knowledge and purchasing techniques
