Procurement Systems Analyst
The Procurement Systems Analyst will work closely with the Procurement Services organization, Field Operations teams, and suppliers for both the implementation and operation of the enterprises first source to order system. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The Procurement Systems Analyst is responsible for providing daily maintenance, configuration, and execution of procurement systems. This role will work closely with the Procurement Analytics and Systems team, members of the Procurement Services, Corporate Disbursements and Information Technology teams. The cross functional nature of this role is meant to assist in executing the roadmap of system solutions and assist with operational implementations for process improvement. It is responsible for monitoring SLAs, ensuring optimal performance, continually upgrading features, maintenance, data integrity and capabilities as needed. This role does require knowledge of business and systems principles involved in strategic sourcing, procurement.
+ Provide business process and technical support for Procurement Systems.
+ Ability to support multiple, complex projects and changing priorities and work extended hours when required.
+ Assist with creation of end user training materials.
+ Provides detailed analysis to support critical activities and special projects as well as develops tools and templates to streamline procurement initiatives.
+ Rapidly learn new systems and procedures.
+ Support the implementation of modules, enhancements and upgrades.
+ Creation and maintenance of system catalogs, approval workflows, and product masters.
+ Maintain active user profiles and company hierarchy within the procurement system.
+ Revise configurable fields and meta data to facilitate business process and development.
+ Partner with IT Support to support smooth integration with other systems (ERP, HRMS, etc.).
+ Responsible for understanding all Procurement Business Systems and Processes in support of sourcing and procurement and is an essential resource for the implementation of upgrades to these systems.
+ Ensure an advanced understanding of procurement system’s functionality and capabilities to become the Technology Platform super user.
+ Configure additional dashboards, pick lists, insights, or reports as needed.
+ Provide ongoing system configuration support and administration.
+ Support process document creation detailing best practices for templates, configuration settings, and reporting.
+ Remain current on new features, upgrades, and version releases, managing the update process for the organization.
+ Perform an analysis of data to identify trends & perform opportunity assessments for ad hoc requests.
Desired Skills and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Management) and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience.
+ 2-4
+ Experience with PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office Suite; and Procurement SaaS technology (e.g. Coupa, GEP, Zycus, Ivalua, Oracle Peoplesoft)
+ Analytical, verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with numerous cross-functional business leaders.
+ Self-starter with ability to manage tasks and work within a matrix organization.
+ Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and an ability to identify problems, design and articulate solutions, and implement.
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and project management skills.
+ Passionate about innovation and directly supporting change within established corporate culture.
