OVERVIEW: Statewide Remodeling Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-starting individual that demonstrates initiative and commitment as a Procurement Technician. The Procurement Technician will provide support and assist the Pre-Production Manager to effectively and efficiently meet Statewide Remodeling business needs. The Procurement Technician will oversee and coordinate all aspects of production phase for job installation. Assist sub-contractors and trades people in accordance with company policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Compare commissions to spec sheets to verify charges and proper materials specified; verify scope of project against sales contract;
- Identify missing information and product errors on spec sheets and notify proper management and/or Pre-site Tech;
- Prepare and send product orders to vendors;
- Review job files upon receipt to ensure quality and meet timetables;
- Process work order changes (WOCs) received from sales in a timely manner and copies distributed to Production;
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure materials arrive in a timely manner and verify product costs;
- Inform supervisor and/or manager of any issues that arise during installations;
- Communicate with Pre-Production Manager, sales reps and other mangers;
- Responsible for meeting department productivity and quality goals;
- Process and maintain return to vendor requests;
- Keep record of sales and pre-site errors for weekly review;
- Assist in warehouse as needed;
- Performs other work related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous residential experience in home remodeling;
- Preferred previous ordering or procurement experience;
- Some weekends may be required;
- Familiarity with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat;
- Years of experience working in an home remodeling environment in a similar role;
- Strong time management and organizational skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal);
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality, with a patient and calming manner;
- Team player with the ability to take on more and grow with the role and company!
EDUCATION:
- Required high school diploma;
- Preferred some college courses;
- Prior experience or education in remodeling and/or construction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to move around, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 + pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The work is performed in an office setting and in the warehouse. While in the office, the noise level is moderate. While in the warehouse, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, including extreme heat and cold conditions. The noise level is normally moderate.
Dress code: Button down or polo shirt, jeans or pants. Faded jeans, T-shirts, dirty or sloppy clothing, flip flops or open toed shoes are not acceptable
Schedule: Monday through Friday. Appointments and installations may be scheduled on Saturday. If so Pre-Production is expected to be available.
