Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Analyst with a strong background in healthcare, particularly in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the clinical side of healthcare operations and be able to bridge the gap between clinical workflows and technology solutions. As a Product Analyst, you will play a key role in defining, designing, and optimizing healthcare technology solutions that improve patient care, enhance clinician workflows, and drive operational efficiencies.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Analyst with a strong background in healthcare, particularly in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the clinical side of healthcare operations and be able to bridge the gap between clinical workflows and technology solutions. As a Product Analyst, you will play a key role in defining, designing, and optimizing healthcare technology solutions that improve patient care, enhance clinician workflows, and drive operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with stakeholders (clinicians, healthcare providers, IT teams, and product managers) to gather and document business and clinical requirements for EMR, EHR, and PACS systems.
- Analyze current healthcare workflows, identify pain points, and propose technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes.
- Translate clinical and business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clinical staff (doctors, nurses, radiologists, etc.) to understand their daily workflows and challenges, ensuring that the product aligns with their needs.
- Serve as the bridge between clinical and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product goals and deliverables.
- Product Design & Feature Optimization:
- Work with cross-functional teams to define new product features and enhancements for EMR, EHR, and PACS solutions, prioritizing features based on business impact and clinical needs.
- Use data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for improving the usability and functionality of healthcare software.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure features are fully validated in clinical environments.
- Data & Reporting:
- Analyze system data, clinical workflows, and usage patterns to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
- Create dashboards and reports for tracking product performance and healthcare outcomes to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure that all product requirements and updates comply with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to EMR, EHR, and PACS.
- Training & Support:
- Provide training materials and support to clinical staff on new features and updates to EMR, EHR, and PACS systems.
- Offer ongoing product support to ensure that clinical teams are using the systems effectively and efficiently.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Clinical Informatics, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a product analyst, business analyst, or clinical informatics role, with a focus on EMR, EHR, or PACS systems.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations, particularly in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Experience with EMR/EHR/PACS systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, McKesson, Client Healthcare) is highly preferred.
- Experience in working with clinical teams and understanding their requirements and challenges is essential.
