SUMMARY
Develop and maintain a product line, maintain publication data and support creation of technical literature.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technical Training, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Equivalent experience preferred. Working knowledge of internal combustion engines, product design and materials, sourcing, completion of corrective action requests and the ability to read and understand blue prints desired

SUMMARY
Develop and maintain a product line, maintain publication data and support creation of technical literature.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform research of the OE and aftermarket competitors' catalogs and components for information regarding new parts of additions, and upgrades of existing parts.
- Responsible for all facets of the product life cycle, to include; Outlining product detail, sourcing, new product introductions, supersessions, consolidations, re-labels and recalls; analyze new products and make recommendations.
- Responsible for accuracy and completeness of application and product data in all publications.
- Responsible for competitor analysis and maintaining competitor interchange data.
- Coordinate the development of all new product programs.
- Establish product and material specifications.
- Responsible for the quality of products and content of sets.
- Maintain close liaison with MAHLE Aftermarket Service Engineering, MAHLE Aftermarket Product Management - Germany, MAHLE OE engineering at international manufacturing locations and the engineering departments of vendors.
- Assist field sales personnel with customer needs and requirements.
- Respond to product inquiries submitted by sales personnel and customers.
- Assist in the establishment of pricing for new products/parts.
- Create mutually beneficial relationships with customers and suppliers
- Assist on special assignments as may be directed.
- Complies with Company policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
