About the Job
As a Vice President - Global Real-Time Payments and Alternative Payments in Global Banking Payments, you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way.
Job responsibilities
- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Maintains and continues to develop the Global Real-Time Payments and Alternative Payments product proposition for Commercial Banking clients
- Establishes delivery milestones, budget, releases, client impacts and client servicing metrics in cooperation with cross-functional teams
- Co-owns client-facing enablement efforts with the Commercial Banking Commercialization team
- Owns new product approvals and change management processes for Commercial Banking clients
- Incorporates customer feedback and market research to prioritize new features and functionality requests, supported by strong business cases that will reflect client needs
- Co-sponsors go-to-market and commercialization efforts to ensure solutions are ready to be offered to Commercial Banking clients
- Works with internal and external partners to deliver solutions and plan for launches
- Partners closely with sales, onboarding and service organizations to optimize processes and improve the client experience, ultimately decreasing cycle times and increasing client satisfaction
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Expertise in payments - acquiring/acceptance/payment processing and/or digital payments, ideally faster or real-time payments
- Strong influencing and partnership/collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams to build better solutions and to execute go-to-market plans
- Ability to build compelling presentations to elicit action from internal stakeholders and to positively influence client buying decisions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- 5+ years of relevant Product, Strategy or Consulting experience within Payments (Banking or Fintech) using a data-driven approach
