The Product Design Engineer leads the Team focusing on the creation of new products and exploration of new technologies to integrate into current assemblies to increase sustainability and reduce emissions impacts.
The ideal candidate will have project management experience of ventilation systems and an understanding of temperature reduction, as well as a hands-on understanding of metal fabrication tools (shear, press brake, welding, etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, BSME or BSMET.
Use Inventor and CFD Software (Simscale preferred) to create the new product design for the • Create product prototypes and test them for safety. Work closely with both Sales and Operations teams
• Develop estimates of time and materials as part of the management of the project.
• Supervise the initial phase of the manufacturing process • Update and maintain all listing files (UL, ETL, NSF), reference materials, and samples.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience designing ventilation and/or HVAC systems for industrial and commercial use.
• Strong proficiency with both AutoDesk Inventor required.
• Ability to size and source mechanical and electrical components.
