Product Design Engineer - Revology Cars LLC

Revology Cars is hiring an Automotive Product Design Engineer at the central Florida facility where we build 1965-1968 Ford® Mustang® and Shelby® GT new licensed reproduction rolling chassis and restored original automobiles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven technical skills, motivation, adaptability to new or changing requirements, and a unique or challenging automotive background.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Develop vehicle components and subassemblies that meet functional requirements and investment and variable cost targets.
• Develop multiple concurrent prototype and production automobile part drawings to communicate requirements and manufacturing needs to in-house fabricators and outsourced suppliers.
• Design, create, test, analyze, and update production fixtures used to position, sub assemble, and hold meaningful levels of tolerance on automobile parts and assemblies such as suspension, body, steering, seats, controls, electronics, etc.
• Create, revise, and issue 3D vehicle data and 2D drawings to meet growing and changing needs.
• Write work instructions to explain the use of fixtures, templates, and application of parts to the production process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from ABET accredited school.
• Work experience in an automotive field.
• Demonstratable knowledge of automotive systems and interactions.
• Proficient in CAD modeling (solid or surface) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
