Position Summary:We are seeking a dynamic Product Design Engineer with a strong background in engineering, experience with cutting-edge technologies, and a proven track record of managing complex projects, to manage new technology development at our innovative R&D lab.
Responsibilities include leading the technology development process, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and driving innovation. Must be results-driven, with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
You will lead and ensure the progress of technology projects; develop designs, data, specifications, processes, and reports throughout the technology development process and present out to internal / external customers for technical reviews. Additional responsibilities include proposal writing and authoring and delivering technical papers as the opportunities arise.
Essential Responsibilities:- Leads the design and development of centrifugal pump technology concepts through a stage-gate process, from ideation through to prototype and testing validation. Presents results, develops recommendations, and aligns with leadership on the innovation funnel.
- Collaborates with various teams to meet project milestones and decision points on time and is responsible for technology validation and report-out
- Analyzes complex centrifugal pump components using the latest technology tools.
- Designs complex centrifugal pump components and/or systems for which standard design procedures may not apply.
- Recommends and develops standard design and operating procedures.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with at least 8+ years of experience in product design.
- Knowledge of foundry, machining, and fabrication practices
- Knowledge of industry standards such as HI, API, ASME, ASTM
- Broad knowledge of the application of rotordynamics, FEA, & CFD.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects with complex technical and/or commercial issues.
- Demonstrated ability to originate and successfully complete projects that have significant, positive impact on the company’s business.
- Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.Equal Pay Act Range:Annual Salary Range $94,000 to $140,600 Plus Benefits and Incentive Plans.
