Required Skills:
Product Designer Responsibilities:
1. Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design.
2. Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms.
3. Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch.
4. Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality.
5. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.

6. Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Interactive Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 1 year of work experience in the job offered or in a graphics design-related occupation.
7. OR Employer will accept 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a graphics design-related occupation.
8. Position also requires 12 months of experience in the following:
9. 1. Front-end programming or building and shipping applications or software
10. 2. Application design, visual design, or interaction design experience
11. 5. Graphic design fundamentals, such as in type, hierarchy, color, composition, or contrast
12. 6. End-to-end hybrid UX or UI product design, from the start of a project to completion
13. 7. Evaluating design tradeoffs using various sources of quantitative or qualitative data
14. 9. Communicating and making a design decision by explaining alternatives and corresponding trade-offs
15. 10. Designing for a targeted audience.
Public Compensation:
$241,935/year to $266,420/year + bonus + equity + benefits
