Compensation: Up to $120,000 a year depending on experience

Summary:
The Product Development Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of loan product development and management. This role serves as the primary point of contact for branches and other departments regarding new and existing loan products, investor programs, and market trends. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure product alignment with market demands, and support the growth of loan products across the company. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, branches, loan officers, investors, and executive management to ensure smooth product development and rollouts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and development of new loan products by engaging with branch managers, loan officers, and current or potential investors.
• Keep executive management informed of potential new product opportunities and trends.
• Meet with potential new branches and loan officers at the request of the Production Department to discuss loan products and programs.
• Act as a liaison between departments to answer loan product-related questions, especially with the Scenarios team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry wholesale options to address unique loan needs and leads.
• Oversee the TPO Credit Union channel and maintain strong relationships with its branches.
• Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion team to identify and pursue lending opportunities for minority and low-income communities.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create and update content for marketing materials related to loan products.
• Create and distribute videos to introduce and explain new loan products to staff and branches.
• Attend and contribute to events such as the APM Summit & Symposium, Jumbo steering committee meetings, and Jumpstart programs to provide content and lead discussions as requested.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Capital Markets department to foster a cohesive and successful product development strategy.
• Interview and recommend new staff for the Product Development team as needed.
• Attend APMC management meetings and communicate important information to team members.
• Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance reviews with the Product Development team.
• Provide regular updates on product rollouts and developments to Capital Markets management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide leadership to the Product Development team.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage product development or related field.
• Strong understanding of loan products, investor programs, and market trends.
• Experience in working with branches and executive teams to develop product strategies.
