Product Development Technician - Zobility

Job Description:

• Work independently and/or cross-functionally to initiate and execute lab works on evaluation of recyclability, repulp ability, and biodegradation of various materials.
• Responsible for collecting and recording, interpreting and documenting data in a manner consistent with Good Documentation Practices
• Abe to be aware and comply of all relevant standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Manages and prioritizes assigned projects with little or no direction.

• Good technical skills with training in wet chemistry laboratory safety is a must.
• Comfort and knowledge of working with chemicals, especially hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (5 lb. up to 40 lb.).
• Organized with good time management skills.
• Good communications and observation skills
• Good focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel and work with outside agencies (Somerset Raritan Valley Sewerage Authority).
• Ability to perform repetitive work on a weekly basis.
• Appreciation of good housekeeping and ability to clean glassware thoroughly and repetitively.
• willing to conduct tedious/repetitive work.

• Degree requirement, BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biological Engineering, Microbiology, Packaging, Materials Science or Polymer Science would be preferred.
