As a Product Director in Channels, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. Job responsibilities
- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
- Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
- Evaluates and defines the strategic direction for mature frameworks, aligning their purpose and utility to new demands and needs, LOB priorities, and evolving ways of working.
- Supports team as they oversee their respective portfolios through planning, execution, and future vision as they adapt, develop new strategies and methodologies, manage risks, and achieve targets
- Matures frameworks governance, including the automation of monitoring tools, forums, and active socialization across stakeholders
- Strategically evaluate the need to launch new frameworks and services while overseeing the continuous utility and modernization for technical frameworks
- Evangelize leaders in product and engineering across CCB around the value, utility, and program for tech modernization.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Demonstrable change management skills with experience in successfully rolling out broad organizational changes.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information in order to inform and make decisions quickly, take risks, course-correct and adapt, and constantly iterate on your approach
- Ability to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities, and clearly communicate those ideas
- Flexibility to influence and partner across a large, highly matrixed organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners
- Ability to communicate openly, be transparent, be open and receptive to diverse ideas from different stakeholders, with the ability to influence and motivate
- Experience with program management and the adoption of new tech with scaled platform rollouts

- Recognized thought leader within a related field
- Understanding of how to manage large and diverse developer communities.
