Product Industrialization Test Engineer - Randstad USA

job summary:

1. Vendor Collaboration:

• Work closely with external vendors to ensure quality standards and manufacturing capabilities are aligned with company requirements.

• Define test and validation procedures with suppliers to ensure product reliability and performance.

2. Manufacturing Process Improvement:

• Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing lines, focusing on efficiency, product quality, and consistency.

• Analyze current production methods and equipment, suggesting upgrades or modifications to improve throughput.

• Develop and optimize testing strategies for manufacturing processes to ensure product consistency.

3. Cost-Saving Projects:

• Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising product quality.

• Analyze production data and work with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and reduce waste.

• Lead initiatives to lower component costs through design for manufacturing (DFM) techniques.

4. Product and Software Release:

• Support the industrialization and release of new products, from prototype to mass production.

• Collaborate with engineering and software teams to ensure seamless integration of software updates with hardware components during the manufacturing process.

• Validate new product designs and software releases in manufacturing settings, ensuring readiness for mass production.

responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

• 5 years of experience in product industrialization, manufacturing, or test engineering.

• strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line optimization.

• Experience working with external vendors and managing supplier relationships.

• Hands-on experience with development and validation in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with a focus on process improvement.

• Familiarity with cost-saving initiatives and lean manufacturing principles.

• strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.

• Experience in product release cycles, particularly for hardware and software integration.
