Description:
- Bridge engineer between Japan and US by collaborating with system integrator and solution provider to manage initial system introduction phase (3 months in Kansas, 3 months in Nevada) onsite.
- Has PLM basic technical knowledge.
- Preferably with the experience of introducing PLM system to Japanese customer.
- Capable to support introducing Aras system with third party local engineers and iCAD with client s Japanese engineers.
- The work includes the support of the initial training, issue management and any other initial work for Customer to be familiarized with those systems onsite.
- Demonstrate the experience of working with multiple teams across different IT service vendors, Business users from Plants/ Supply Chain and IT teams
- Fluent in Japanese and English (Business level)

- We are looking for a highly effective PLM Consultant to join our SaaS Supply Chain Management Practice.
- An individual filling this role will provide thought leadership and consultation throughout the life cycle of a PLM implementation.
- The PLM Consultant will be part of the implementation of ARAS and iCAD applications for large Enterprise companies.
- The implementation will consist of several teams from multiple vendors, and across multiple time zones.
- This consultant is expected to be onsite with the Customers in the Plant / customer sites, pass on the requirements to the delivery teams in other time zones.
- This consultant may also be required to coordinate / manage the delivery received from client s sub-contractor vendor.
Key Responsibilities:

- Connect business requirements with the functional capabilities of the PLM solution and create functional specifications
- Offer suggestions and recommendations during solution design and execution phase from a functional perspective to ensure business intent is understood by the project team
- Serve as the bridge/translator between the business team and technical resources during development and implementation to ensure that requirements and dependencies are well understood
- Assist in engagement and project management by identifying risks, opportunities, as well as partnering up with project and account management teams on minimizing the risks and maximizing the opportunities and benefits
- Assist in supporting overall QA/testing efforts and supporting business with User Acceptance testing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluent in Japanese and English (Business level)
- Prior Experience with PLM or related project implementations
- Over 12 -15 years IT experience implementing similar solutions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Work experience with a professional consulting organization (e.g., Big 4 consulting) a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or closely related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment
