Are you a seasoned engineer with a knack for metals and a passion for innovation? We are currently seeking a Permanent Product Line Engineer (Metals) to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality metal products to our clients. You will be a crucial member of our team, working on a variety of challenging projects involving metal, chemical, extraction, crystallization, and engineering.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Product Line Engineer (Metals), you will be responsible for the following:
1. Overseeing the entire lifecycle of our metal product line, from the initial concept to the final product.
2. Conducting detailed analyses of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.
3. Developing and implementing innovative extraction and crystallization techniques to optimize our metal manufacturing processes.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, test, and refine new products, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and regulations.
5. Providing technical support and guidance to our production teams, helping to troubleshoot any issues and optimize performance.
6. Continually researching and staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies, and finding ways to incorporate them into our processes and products.
7. Ensuring all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and working to minimize our environmental impact wherever possible.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on metals.
3. Extensive knowledge of metal, chemical, extraction, and crystallization processes.
4. Proven experience in product line management, from conception to delivery.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels of the organization.
7. A strong commitment to health and safety, and a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
8. Proficiency in using various engineering software and tools.
9. A passion for innovation and a drive to continually improve and evolve our products and processes.
