Summary:
Provides counsel and advice to Leadership on significant Product Management matters, often requiring coordination between organizations and Stakeholders. Responsible for product management efforts for a significant product/brand supporting product direction and future Product development plans.
Responsible for RFP response coordination and program management including, intake through submission and across the business, to ensure quality and accuracy of the RFP response. Interfaces with multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and IT to develop product requirements and specifications. This includes detailed Product strategy, including documenting the Product definition templates for every Product of Evernorth Workplace Care to the point they are ready to be installed and operationalized. Prepares and coordinates product introductions, go to market and updates to existing Products.
The position seeks opportunities to maximize product/brand exposure and sales and is an advocate and champion of the product's brand. Assess current and future Market needs, including the competitive landscape, key macro trends related to the healthcare industry, and environmental forces and company strengths and weaknesses. Keeping Leadership informed of these opportunities and threats. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines as required for each Product. These disciplines include but are not limited to Primary Care, Coaching, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health, Occupational Health, Population Health and event based Wellness and Screenings. Recognized internally as "the go-to person" for the most complex Product Management assignments. Note: Product Management roles may include a blend of Product Management/Product Development responsibilities and RFP coordination and responses.
Responsibilities:
- New Product Development from Conception to the Operating Model (flows) to Approved Product Cut Sheet to Go-to-Market Activities
- Manages existing Product Expansion
- Manages existing Product Improvement
- Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates
- Focuses on moving new products through product launch
- Develops new product value propositions and targeted feature sets
- Researches and compiles reports on the state of the industry, trend forecasts, and competitive analysis
- Develops prototypes and document product specifications, that allows Sales to clearly understand what is being sold in the Market, the Installation team understanding what Product is being installed and Operations to understand what they will be managing
- Designs, executes, and manages projects relating to Product development
- Ensures new product success through close collaboration with research, marketing, and sales leadership
- Act as the Product subject matter expert internally and support account management externally for clients, brokers and consultants, including management and responses to RFP's
- Clearly defines product description Develop go-to-market rules of the road with strategic vendor partners and operationalize for scale.
- Work cross-functionally to proactively identify value proposition, communications, training, and reporting required for our wellbeing solutions.
- Translate market and product feedback into features and requirements, specifications, and develop business case to ensure that the highest priority features are delivered to meet requirements.
- Nurture strategic partnerships that advance our Evernorth Workplace Care strategy and develop shared roadmaps with those strategic partnerships to continuously evolve onsite Care delivery and wellness solutions.
- Provide guidance for the development of sales resources such as RFP proposal content, online knowledge management repositories, presentations, and collaterals to meet the need of the Client and Customer RFP's and RFI's
- Attend Industry conferences relating to onsite Care Delivery and Occupational Health
- Participate in Evernorth client meetings, as well as market forums, as required.
- Drive resolution of client and customer Product issues, escalating when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 or more years of significant Product management experience in healthcare is required, including engagement with and influence of Leadership in a highly matrixed organization
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred.
- Must have successful track record of managing all stages of the Product Development Lifecycle
- Experience in customer journey mapping and use case development. Strong influencing and presentation skills. Can convey complex information in an understandable way to various audiences.
- Ability to develop Product strategies and translate into actions, and successfully operationalize and execute the strategy in the Market.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive results with strong sense of urgency, in an environment of ambiguity, with the end goal to create Product clarity and confidence for delivery.
- Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to prioritize job requirements.
- Excellent organizational agility skills with a strong understanding of business processes and operations to facilitate execution of initiatives.
- Up to 30% travel may be required.
- Must have product experience with Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Occupational Health and Pharmacy service offerings

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 107,300 - 178,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
