Product Manager - Darlington, PA - DESOTEC

DESOTEC'S mission is to protect our planet. We provide end-to-end purification solutions for pollution in air, water and other gases and liquids. We do this by supplying mobile activated carbon filters to our B2B customers all over Europe. We recycle our own saturated filters by taking back the spent activated carbon for reactivation, making our filter solutions circular. 

Due to our continued double-digit growth, we want to strengthen our Product Management & Development efforts – which lie at the center of our solutions for clean air, water and soil. 

Would you like to join us in fighting for a clean future? As a Product Manager: 

·         You meet with other departments to define steps in introducing new sustainable activated carbon types or contribute to new optimization projects. 

·         You possess an in-depth knowledge on our portfolio of activated carbon & mobile filter products.

·         You work closely with our Product Development Manager and you will collaborate across multiple teams (sales, lab, R&D, procurement, technical department and operations).

·         You are our spokesperson across departments for technical expertise.

·         You are the link between sales and our organization as - with your expertise - you'll be responding to questions of our customers.

·         You will discuss and analyze complaints of our customers and will then suggest a potential solution.

·         You guard the delivery of qualitative products to our customers.

·         You have the ability to deep-dive on technical topics, perform root-cause analyses and define roadmaps for growth.

·         Experience working with Procurement to obtain the correct products needed for our operation

·         Expertise with a Technical Department, preferably with the fabrication of carbon filters

·         You will be involved in representing DESOTEC at Trade Shows across the country education potential clients on who we are and how we might be able to add value to their organization

REQUIREMENTS

·         You hold a Bachelor's/master’s degree in Chemistry or related field

·         5+ years of experience in a related industrial industry or managing B2B products is preferred but not a must

·         You have good administrative skills and you excel in organizing

·         Preferred you have your NSF Certifications

·         You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail

·         You consider yourself both a technical and commercial person

·         You can work independently but also like to collaborate across multiple teams

·         Having experience with Product Development, Reach, Navision, Jet-reports, Sharepoint, PIM and/or InDesign is a plus

·         Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when needed
