Lakeland is looking for a Product Manager for our Firefighting product lines. As Product Manger you will oversee the strategic planning, development, and lifecycle management of our Fire product portfolio. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, market trends, regulatory requirements and competitive dynamics to develop product specifications and market plans, launch and drive product to market actions and initiatives to exceed product revenue and margin objectives. Responsibilities
Lakeland is looking for a Product Manager for our Firefighting product lines. As Product Manger you will oversee the strategic planning, development, and lifecycle management of our Fire product portfolio. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, market trends, regulatory requirements and competitive dynamics to develop product specifications and market plans, launch and drive product to market actions and initiatives to exceed product revenue and margin objectives. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with company goals
- Manage the global Fire products portfolio, ensuring consistent market performance
- Assist global sales teams in comprehending product offerings, ensuring that all regions and markets are equipped with the appropriate product mix and pricing strategies
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify customer needs, product /feature gaps and market opportunities
- Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption
- Define product requirements and specifications, ensuring they meet regulatory standards
- Manage the product lifecycle from conception to retirement, including product updates and enhancements
- Conduct customer presentation training for sales teams to effectively communicate product benefits and features
- Represent the company at industry summits, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and gather market intelligence
- Collaborate with Sales team to create accurate product-based sales forecasts
- 2 years commercial B2B product management experience with product manufacturing organization, ideally in firefighting PPE markets
- Effective and professional communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal, with a listening focus)
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to conduct market research and record, analyze, and report market trends and product performance
- Ability to manage multiple projects through to completion
- Ability to understand and formally present test results and analysis
- Ability to make fact-based recommendations and proactive decisions
- Ability to work on your own and as part of cross functional teams
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Bachelor's degree
