To help us continue expanding our offerings, we’re in search of an experienced Product Manager for infrastructure integration to lead a multidisciplinary development team. The ideal candidate will understand Access points, communication protocols and the software integration lifecycle, including maintenance and support.
This person should be a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize a product's full lifecycle, from conception to release. We’re looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in creating integrations that improve customer experience and grow market share.
- Partner Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for infrastructure partners (Access Points) , fostering strong relationships to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Product Integration: Lead the integration of the company’s solutions with infrastructure partners, ensuring compatibility, performance, and seamless operation.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to gather and define product requirements and specifications for integration.
- Technical Oversight: Work closely with engineering teams to oversee the technical aspects of integration, including API compatibility, data exchange, and system architecture alignment.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate with QA teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the integration, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings related to Access Point solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for integration processes, product specifications, and user guides.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update internal stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Training & Support: Collaborate with training teams to develop educational materials and provide training sessions on the integrated solutions for internal teams and customers.
Qualifications we’re looking for.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of product management experience, with a focus on hardware/software integration. Experience working with infrastructure/Access Points for WiFi or Bluetooth or similar technologies is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking technologies, APIs, and system integration methodologies. Familiarity with Access Point hardware and related software solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Abilities:
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering collaboration and driving consensus.
- A strong customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the retail technology sector.
- Knowledge of IoT and smart device ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
