The Product Manager for Support Services Applications is a leadership role in the ITG HealthTrust organization. This position is responsible for the roadmap for support services applications, managing a team of analysts, and ensuring that enterprise technologies support the goals outlined by HealthTrust business units. The scope of applications included for this role include both existing and yet-to-be defined products. The product manager will lead complex IT-based initiatives that require coordination and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, including various ITG teams, vendors, and business analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage product roadmap- enhancements, upgrades, innovation, etc.
- Facilitate governance process for product fixes and enhancements
- Use analysis of product utilization, feedback, trends to identify opportunities
- Define/track product KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and make recommendations for solutions
- Lead complex projects supporting technology initiatives- including design and development, implementation, training, etc.
- Inform and advise leadership during strategic decisions
- Daily management of analysts responsible for subject matter expertise across multiple applications
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members
- Oversee allocation of team resources in alignment with priorities
- Drive execution of related project work and ensure customer service excellence
Competencies
Professional
- Ability to manage within a matrixed organization
- Familiarity with various delivery processes- SCRUM, Agile, etc.
- Experience with facility management applications or equipment management applications {( Building automation systems (BAS)}
- Proven execution of complex projects
Communication
This role requires exemplary written and verbal communication skills. The product manager will be responsible for leading meetings with multi-disciplinary teams, including IT, stakeholder, and vendor colleagues. This individual must manage the details of the product work, but be able to translate the details into meaning information for a variety of audiences.
Teamwork
The product manager must have a strong sense of accountability and expect the same from their team. This individual must cultivate effective partnerships across services lines and departments. In addition to creating a productive work atmosphere across HCA and HealthTrust departments, the product manager will need to manage and integrate vendor representation into the team environment.
Vision
This individual should have a strategic mindset and stay abreast of current technology trends. The product manager will be responsible for creating a product roadmap that provides value to HCA and the patient’s we serve.
Judgement/Decision-making
The product manager must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and be able to act independently in day-to-day product/team decisions. This individual must also effectively understand the impact of decisions and know when to escalate or gain additional input from leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years relevant work experience; management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Occasional travel: may require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis
- In-office presence expected weekly (hybrid schedule)
