About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience working on recommendation systems or other machine learning systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or a business related field.
- 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to leadership.
- Experience with data analysis including SQL and analysis tools.
- Experience in an analysis role including data science, strategy, or other analytical roles.

- Work with engineering and data science to improve recommendations at YouTube, with a focus on newer or lesser known parts of the corpus.
- Evolve metrics to measure success.
- Understand markets, ecosystem effects, and user requirements in depth.
- Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on innovative technologies.
