Product Manager
Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ
Duration: 4 - 5 Months
Visa: GC or USC
Reporting to the Vice President WC & Auto, this individual will responsible for assisting with the design, build and on-going maintenance of Client's new Small Commercial Auto product. This professional will work closely with regulatory, product management, actuary, underwriting, sales, IT, and operations to develop and maintain Small Commercials Auto Product.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Regularly conduct market analysis to understand competitor product offerings
• Drives product development efforts including segment expansions, coverage enhancements, underwriting strategies, and improvements to the online Auto strategic quoting platform
• Builds detailed IT business specifications and manages line of business IT development efforts
• Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates state regulatory and legislative changes that may impact product performance; ensures product rates, rules, forms, underwriting, and business practices are in compliance with state laws
New Platform Development Responsibilities:
• Catalog all current ISO forms and Clients Proprietary forms to be used in the new Auto product
• With the assistance of Legal and Regulatory, develop new product coverages
• Work with IT to develop and implement business requirements for the new Auto platform with regards to forms, rates, rules, and underwriting
• Assist with development of Auto underwriting rules and guidelines
• Provide general oversight and direction on all Auto filings
• Act as a subject matter expert on ISO Auto forms, rate, and rules
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Actuarial, and/or Juris Doctor
• Ideal candidate with have 5+ years in personal or commercial Auto Product Development
• Candidate should have prior experience developing business/IT platform requirements
• Must have strong knowledge of ISO forms, rate, and rule
