Product Marketing Manager
Location: SF Bay Area, Seattle, or Los Angeles
Duration: 5 months
Pay: up to $122/hr, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 5 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and will be onsite in Burlingame, CA (SF Bay Area) but is open to Seattle and LA.
The team is on a mission to build the next computing platform centered around people. Pushing the state of the art and groundbreaking research into emerging technologies, software, and hardware that will help bring this vision to life, the team is focused on building new products and supporting existing, in-market products that support this mission.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product marketing leader to drive monetization and ecosystem growth. The primary responsibility of this role will be to launch and scale off-platform content sales.
This candidate will work with cross-functional partners to define requirements and manage workflows to ensure flawless execution on expansion strategies. This will include partnering with teams like PM, engineering, tax, accounting, and legal to ensure both commercial and back-end processes are defined and developed to ensure efficient VR/MR digital products growth. You’ll spend time crafting and executing processes and workflow schedules with the VR/MR content category.
To be successful, the candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, stellar project management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and digital products experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate has worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments built to move fast with a lot of urgency. Finally, the ability to ruthlessly prioritize, and pivot quickly as needed to manage changing priorities is second nature to this position.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for directly managing and monitoring cross-functional workflows that will enable the scaling of digital products via sales channels
- Define and socialize new durable processes that will clarify roles and responsibilities for internal stakeholders and will allow the Company to scale to global markets and new sales channel partners
- Partner with Product Operations cross-functional leads (Marcom, Comms, Sales, Data Science, Marketing Insights, Growth, etc.) to develop and execute monetization programs to drive global momentum for the VR/MR category.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience with relevant sales, marcom, and/or product management experience in managing in-market products through EOL.
- Experience in working directly with global Sales and Retail partners, managing financials, ASPs, and MSRPs.
- Experience with consumer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform MR/VR category level development and GTM strategy.
- BA/BS degree in marketing, business, engineering, product development, or related field.
