As a **Product Marketing Manager - Thought Leadership and Storytelling** , you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for storytelling and thought leadership for Microsoft Learn, crafting compelling stories that resonate with both individuals and organizations. You will establish the guiding voice for Microsoft Learn, creating a strategic plan to underscore our leadership's perspectives at pivotal times. You will also be responsible for strategizing and partnering with Press Relations and Analyst Relations teams to land significant skilling headlines across diverse publications, showcasing Microsoft's learning initiatives. You'll partner closely with peers in the WWL Go To Market (GTM) team and key stakeholders in WWL, Integrated Marketing, Engineering, and field teams to support business objectives and drive business impact.

**Responsibilities**
+ Drive the Microsoft Learn narrative, ensuring it aligns with our broader skilling objectives.
+ Develop and execute a thought leadership strategy that positions Microsoft as a leader in learning and development.
+ Lead storytelling efforts for skilling, showcasing impactful learner stories from individuals and organizations.
+ Develop an executive voice and communications strategy, determining the optimal moments to feature our executives across various publications and engagements.
+ Conduct industry research to inform our marketing strategies, incorporating relevant datapoints and claims.
+ Manage the announcement and disclosure rhythm for the team, coordinating with stakeholders for reviews and alignment.
+ Collaborate with PR and other internal stakeholders to drive, lead, and support major headlines and announcements related to Microsoft's skilling efforts.
+ Establish ongoing feedback loops with internal and external partners to understand how things are landing and required updates

**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
+ OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
+ OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record in similar roles.
+ Analytical abilities and experience with industry research
+ Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and project management.
+ Creative and innovative mindset with a storytelling approach to marketing
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
