The Product Operations Senior Manager discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable product features, elements and whole product deliverables. Compiles and evaluates market product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality. Establishes product specifications and coordinates cross-functionally with other engineering, marketing and sales, to ensure successful product design and implementation. May focus on video and/or voice product development, enhancement and delivery
What you will do to contribute to the company's success
Cross-Functional Change Management - collaborates and sets requirements with cross functional teams, notably: billing, web, software devops, accounting, customer service, training, sales. Works with product management, marketing, customer service, and technology teams to ensure operational alignment across all stages of the product lifecycle. Facilitates prioritization of initiatives and represents Residential Services in backlog refinement sessions. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to ensure project milestones are met and operational issues are resolved swiftly
Process Optimization - Defines product development workflows and best practices to drive efficiency within the team and free up product managers to focus on building great products. Serves as point person for Residential Services in the development of enterprise intake and change management form.
New Product Development - Works with VP of Product to define new product ideas, validate through research and spin up pilots to further test.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all product operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Work with relevant teams to establish standards and practices that maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Product Instrumentation : Works closely with product team to establish key dashboards and metrics to measure product success
Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential impacts on product delivery and quality. Implement contingency plans as needed to address unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications
5+ years' experience working in product orientated roles or software engineering
Operational Excellence:
o Experience in developing and optimizing operational processes.
o Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Experience working with various departments such as engineering, marketing, billing, web
o Ability to facilitate communication and collaboration across teams.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
o Experience in leveraging data and analytics to drive product decisions and improvements.
o Familiarity with data tools and platforms for monitoring product performance.
Customer Focus:
o Experience in gathering and analyzing customer feedback.
o Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and features.
Skills:
Analytical Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, or specific product analytics platforms.
Communication:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Understanding:
o Good understanding of software development processes and technologies.
o Ability to converse with technical teams and understand technical challenges.
Change Management:
o Experience in managing change within an organization.
o Ability to guide teams through transitions and adopt new processes or tools.

o Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in all operational aspects.
o Ability to spot potential issues before they become significant problems.
