SUMMARY:
The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the product vision established by the product manager. The associate in the role is responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team. This role requires a dynamic, polished individual that can successfully navigate both the business and technical realms of the organization.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years of related Product Owner/Product Management experience
- 4+ years of direct Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Experience in SAFe a plus
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) preferred
- Proficient using Altassian Confluence/JIRA as an agile software development tool preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members and facilitate stakeholder or delivery team meetings
- Possess advanced analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to evaluate existing or proposed new solutions for potential flaws or improvement opportunities — including alignment to departmental goals and standards
- Ability to utilize presentation methods or tools to convey various business or technical objectives
- Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational dynamics of a large organization
- Experience in requirements elicitation
- Knowledge of Retail Systems and processes preferred
- Participation in groups or affiliations concerned with the development of Business Analysis preferred
- Consistently demonstrates a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
