About the Job
The Product Manager is a senior management level position responsible for setting strategy and providing direction and leadership with a heavy focus on Regulatory driven initiatives and driving execution for core programs.Responsibilities:Fosters a product vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding roadmap to deliveryAdvanced knowledge of the Product Development and SDLC and enforces best practicesEstablish and execute a governance framework strategy across Product with alignment to Technology for Wholesale LendingEffectively partner with cross-functional teams to provide thought leadership and develop senior management reportsChair and drive senior forums with big picture vision, but also able to sufficiently understand specific challengesBuild effective reporting to aid in communication across different stakeholdersEnsure key results are well defined and clearly communicated with relevant stakeholders Ability to turn complex, detailed updates to management level communication statusesUtilize excellent PowerPoint skills to provide effective reporting and documentation including dashboards and scorecardsDemonstrates ability to identify potential risk issues that need escalation and escalates them promptlyDevelop and support performance measurement and management ranging from strategic franchise development scorecards to project/function-specific metricsProactively follows escalation and change control processes, when necessaryQualifications: 10 + years' experience with a major consulting firm, including senior engagement management roles with client assignments of significant scope in financial servicesExperience is Credit Risk and/or Institutional Lending a plus.Experience in the PDLC and SDLC including Agile project workExpert in Internal Audit, internal QC or review functionsPrevious experience working with Regulatory programsStrategic thinker with proven ability to operationalize the strategyBachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferredCompetencies:Strong listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills.Ability to interact with all levels of senior management; demonstrates impactful communication, influencing and facilitation skills Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinkingStrong attention to detail in supporting management reporting with clear and concise presentationSuperior Planning & Organization skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPointExperience working in a global, dynamic environmentThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed
