You will be part of a fast-paced operations team comprised of all functional disciplines to ensure that our quality and processes are able to ensure that current and new products to are delivered to the market with success. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and implementing changes to manufacturing processes and products, ensuring the accuracy of engineering data and managing product cost data and analysis. The target wage/salary range for this role is $90k - $110k, depending on education and experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning and implementing changes to manufacturing processes and products, ensuring the accuracy of engineering data and managing product cost data and analysis. A Day-in-the-life for this role:
- Implement Changes through PLM and ERP Systems that will include
- Utilize PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems to manage and implement engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring accurate data flow from design to manufacturing.
- Lead the creation, modification, and release of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Ensure proper integration between PLM, ERP, and other related systems, including tracking materials, inventory, and product configurations.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and other technical documentation and engineering data in PLM and ERP systems is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the current design and manufacturing standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve any data discrepancies or issues impacting production or product development.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless implementation of engineering changes and efficient product lifecycle management.
- Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality.
- Lead or support projects focused on continuous improvement, including process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on product cost analysis, engineering data accuracy, and status of ongoing PLM/ERP implementation efforts.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to PLM/ERP systems, engineering changes, and cost data management.
Experience you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on PLM/ERP systems, product cost analysis, and engineering data management.
- Experience with PLM software (e.g., Agile, PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA) and ERP systems (e.g., Avante, Epicor, Infor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of engineering change management and the product development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated track record of effectively influencing without authority with all levels of an organization and leading effective/successful change initiatives

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present data-driven insights.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including materials, assembly, and production techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in costing or financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CAD systems and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
