Job DescriptionThe Cross-Border Commercialization and GTM team plays a critical role in growing the North American Money Movement Solutions business. The team is comprised of global payments experts with strong analytical skills that are responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive and accelerate Visa Direct cross-border growth across payment rails, use cases and verticals. The team collaborates closely with solutioning and sales teams to help demonstrate the opportunity and value proposition of Visa Direct across priority client segments.
As a GTM Manager, you will be at the forefront of helping to shape interactions with our key clients in North America (NA) Money Movement Solutions (MMS). Your main responsibility will be to craft compelling, persuasive narratives that align Visa solutions with the needs and goals of our top clients.
Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who has a knack for storytelling, is exceptional at creating structure in the face of ambiguity and is experienced in scaling a business or product through strategic implementation.
Key Responsibilities
GTM Strategy & Execution:
Develop GTM strategy including opportunity sizing, market and competitive analysis, value propositions and segment growth recommendations.
Leverage your commercial experience to deliver tailored product positioning and messaging that resonate with priority client segments
Drive strategic initiatives projects designed to propel cross-border growth
Continuously review the NA payment landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to growing Visa's money movement business
Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Visa money movement products and services
Sales and Account Growth Enablement:
Lead development and execution success of pitches to senior client executives of our most critical sales opportunities, directing meeting agenda, content and Visa storyline
Lead the development and design of high-impact pitch decks and presentations for key client/prospects, drawing on market insights and client strategies
Understand the business needs and objectives of our key clients to tailor presentations and pitches accordingly
Work closely with creative teams to shape, polish and ship impactful experiences and business development assets
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and data to create persuasive narratives
Develop and disseminate best practices to empower business development and account managers across the team to utilize strategies for client engagement
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of our client engagement strategies, making improvements as necessary
This role is responsible for both strategy and execution and will bring a “roll up your sleeves” mentality to the position as you both lead and support a variety of our cross-border growth initiatives.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Financial payment industry experience required. Cross-border and real-time payments experience a plus
• 3+ years of experience in client-facing roles or go-to-market, commercialization, marketing, communications, business development or other similar roles
• Product management, business operations, strategy consulting or management consulting experience highly regarded
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their own learning and success
• Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent storytelling ability
• Critical thinker, strong organization skills, highly engaged and detail oriented
• Expert level PowerPoint and advanced level Excel skills
• Understanding of APIs and their functionality preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
• Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 138,500.00 to 200,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
