Job Summary:
Works closely with creative services team to support production needs for projects, ensuring readiness for publication.
Essential Position Functions:
• Develop production-ready artwork, images, and graphics in various formats; and resolve artwork issues with the creative team and the printer.
• Replicate template-based designs with a high level of accuracy and within brand guidelines.
• Review graphics, layouts, and fonts before project is complete; and recommend/apply quality improvements, ex: retouching or manipulating images.
• Finalize designs and prepare final press-ready files for print or digital publication based on provided specifications, ensuring they adhere to all format, spec and/or process requirements.
• Produces a wide range of print and digital promotional projects.
• Production of packaging artwork and line extensions.
• Responsible for quick turn templated projects and high-volume, detailed work.
• Maintains Company artwork archive.
• Communicates with printers regarding specifications.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
• Associate degree in graphics arts or a related field, or a combination of experience and professional certifications is required.
• 5+ years in artwork production.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Photography expertise preferred.
• Strong skills in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Expertise in pre-flighting, collecting, and archiving files.
• Solid knowledge and experience in taking a project from concept to final production.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to create, design and deliver quality work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Office environment.
• Occasional lifting of packages and/or equipment up to 25 lbs may be required.
