Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Production Artist I to join the Global Sports Apparel team. This role amplifies production by delivering flawless execution on production-ready files, is a trusted resource within the team, and creates detailed and accurate schematics. The candidate needs to have a creative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, while keeping production moving forward.
What you will work on
If this is you, you will be working on highly visible product across sports and professional leagues. This is where sport, design and culture meet and where we are re-defining apparel for both athletes and fans. You will work with Design to create and finalize graphic details across multiple levels of product, from on-athlete to retail. You will be inspired and challenged by a wide-range of responsibilities and experiences.
You will do this by leveraging 2D and 3D tools. A typical day could include Production Art meetings and alignment, high-volume schematic creation and lay-down page creation, creating documentation for downstream partners and reviewing strike-offs. In addition to creation, you will be responsible for tracking and maintaining updates on all appropriate files for accuracy through final approval. You will learn new tools and advocate for efficiencies in the product creation life cycle.
Who you will work with
You will report directly to the Production Art Studio Senior Manager, while working in collaboration with fellow Apparel and Graphic Production Artists.
You will be working on product across multiple sport dimensions including, Olympics, NBA, WNBA, and NCAA to support seasonal product creation. This opportunity will require independent and highly detailed thinking.
What you bring
+ Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Strong knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite
+ Knowledge of graphic applications for apparel
+ Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO) is a plus
+ Understanding of Smartsheets, Airtable, and Miro are a plus
+ Strong listening, communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to navigate ambiguity
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Ability to multi-task amidst competing priorities
+ Curiosity for learning
+ A connection to sport, sport culture, Nike, and/or Design required
