Summary

This position assembles/checks/tests new equipment prior to delivery to customer. Additionally the person supports the daily warehouse operations as well as pump repairs at our in-house repair facility. This is a physical, multi-faceted position that involves basic plumbing and electrical assembly skills. Continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages is part of the day's work. The Production/Warehouse Associate must have the ability to perform shipping and receiving functions, including unloading trucks and pulling/packing orders. A good mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools and basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles is essential. The Production/Warehouse Associate must have the ability to communicate with staff, management, and customers. Job duties may change from day to day or on the fly as a need arises.

Responsibilities

• Assemble systems composed of piping and basic electrical components and wiring to meet design for customer.
• Assemble metering pumps to manufacturer specification.
• Help maintain shipping schedule by picking and packing individual customer orders per specific customer requirements.
• Inspect all goods to specifications when received and prior to shipping to the customer.
• Receive and verify shipments received in the Company warehouse.
• Using supplied tools, perform repair of customer equipment and assembly of new products and systems.
• Help with crating and shipping of odd or oversized projects.
• Observe all Company safety guidelines, wear prescribed safety attire, and work safely at all times.
• Perform all general warehouse tasks and responsibilities, repair room activities, and new build activities as needed.
• Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Mechanical Aptitude. Electrical wiring experience a plus.
• Experience with UPS Worldship, Fed Ex Manager, and DHL computer software.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong Oral and written communication.
• Be on time for scheduled workday and complete all work hours required.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers.
• Order fulfillment accuracy and attention to detail
• Positive attitude on display at all times.
• Able to prioritize and handle several projects at once.
• Persistent and diligent attention to safety and detail.
• Proficient with basic computer programs like Excel and Word a plus.
• Must possess the ability to learn job responsibilities in various areas of the business.

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED / Experience preferred.
