Position Summary
Reporting to ProductionManager, as aProduction Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for carrying out various tasks related to manufacturing, assembling, and packaging our products. Your attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to maintaining quality standards will contribute to the overall success of our production team.
Position Responsibilities
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with all federal, state and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to occupational safety.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure products meet specified standards and requirements. Identify any defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities and report them to the appropriate personnel. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production-related quality issues.
• Work documentation: Accurately complete production logs, work orders, and other required documentation to track production progress and maintain production records. Enter data into computer systems or databases as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any production-related issues.
• Communication: Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assembly and Production:Perform assembly tasks according to established production guidelines and specifications. This may include operating machinery, using hand tools, or following manual assembly processes to build or fabricate components or finished products.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to perform simple calculations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to prioritize workplace safety.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and data entry.
