Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares Production Room for blends per schedule
- Daily food processing, metal detection, packaging, pallet building to meet quality standards and customer need-by dates as assigned
- Forklift proficiency and operation – WE TRAIN!!!
- Follow all safety and food safety rules within the organization
- Ability to work overtime, second shift, or weekends if required by production/customer requirement schedule
- Read, interpret and complete batch sheets
Requirements:
- Ability to follow and give directions
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Good and timely attendance
- Ability to perform accurate weigh outs, understand and accurately perform math percentages, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication as it relates to production
- Compliance with GMP’s as they relate to safety, quality and cleanliness
- Safely lift and move at least 50-110 pounds
- Safely able to push/pull 2000 pounds with a pallet jack
- Strong teamwork skills
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred one - three years’ experience in food processing or any manufacturing facility
