Title: Production Associate

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (non-negotiable)
Location: East Dracut, MA
Schedule: 40.00 hours/week (Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm). This schedule includes all federal holidays outside of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Status: Full-time
Pay Type: Hourly
Pay Status: Non-exempt
Qualification: At least 2 years of manufacturing production or related experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age to apply.
- Must have ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays outside of Thanksgiving/Christmas Days.
- Must have reliable transportation (public transportation is not a form of reliable transportation).
Job Description -
The Production Associate is responsible for supporting and assisting Production Management in all efforts related to packaging bulk flower, assembling pre-rolls, and packaging all manufactured products. The Production Associate shall be organized with the willingness to collaborate and work well with others while also showing the ability to multitask. This is a highly compliance driven position and requires strict attention to detail while also meeting aggressive daily goals to deliver the finished product to be available for sale.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities -
- Follow all procedures according to local and state regulations and company Standard Operations Procedures (SOP’s).
- Ensure production goals established by Management are being met.
- Maintain forms and database to precisely record weight, product count, and any relevant issues for all products.
- Apply labeling in accordance with product information, testing results, and other required information.
- Thoroughly clean equipment and work areas using defined sanitation procedures in accordance with applicable SOPs and state regulations.
- Ability to use various types of production and packaging equipment along with automation.
- May assists in the loading, unloading, and inventory of all cannabis packaging, supplies and materials.
- Assist with weekly audits of supplies and packaging when directed by the Production Management.
- Maintain quality assurance of all packaged products.
- Maintain efficiency and productivity throughout the entire production cycle.
- Additional duties performed include the weighing, packaging, stickering, and labeling of products.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Manufacturing work environment – possibility of loud machinery noises.
- Ability to use hands, wrists, and arms in a repetitive/continuous motion in an 8-hour work shift.
- This job function may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching.
- Ability to perform department activities for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet.
- Must wear PPE and provided work uniform scrubs.
