Reports to: Site Supervisor
Sonoco Full-time Pay Rate: $18.17/hr.
*Openings available for 1st shift (6 am – 2:30 pm, M - F / OT as needed)

Production Associate I – Recycle Service Center

Reports to: Team Leader II

Sonoco Full-time Pay Rate: $18.17/hr.

*Openings available for 1st shift (6 am – 2:30 pm, M - F / OT as needed)

This position is located at our facility located at 1030 FM 728, Jefferson, TX 75657 where wood reels are recycled.   

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured product.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
• Performing all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Helping other departments as needed.
• You will lift at least 50 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours.
• You will need to have the ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations.
• You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success.
• Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.
