Production Associate (No Experience Required) at Micro Tech

Local Manufacturing company seeking Entry Level Production Associates that are willing to learn and be trained how to cast moldings made out of plastic raw materials. This position is full time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm and starting pay at $18/HR depending on experience. 

Will be trained and responsible for the following, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Candidates for this role will be utilizing casts or molds, that have been fabricated out of metal or harden plastic to shape plastic material to given parameters
• This role will involve pouring epoxy and resin mixtures into molds and putting inserts in various places to conform the shape of soft plastic material
• Will be responsible for putting in vacuum chambers to remove remaining air
• The casting technician will be de-molding, meaning they are pulling the congealed plastic form shapes out from the mold itself using hand tools, air guns, putty scrapers etc.
• Grinding and belt sanding contoured area for smoothness
• Must have great attention to detail and hand and eye coordination
• Looking for candidates with prior manufacturing experience but not required

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass preemployment drug and background screening
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR Facility)
• Good Manual Dexterity
• Able to use basic hand tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read directions to complete a task
• Strong math skills
• Ability to measure/weigh liquids, using percentages as reference
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
