Job Title: Production Line Operator
Job Description
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Line Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for operating in your own work cell on a production line, handling tasks such as pouring liquid into bottles, capping glass bottles, sealing, labeling, and inspecting bottles for packing. You will also be required to box, wrap, and carefully pack merchandise, all of which are glass bottles regulated by the FDA. Additionally, you will be responsible for packaging, labeling, stacking boxes near the shipping area, and documenting any quality issues or delays with shipments as needed.
1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $17/hour
Location: Skokie
Responsibilities
+ Pour lubrication liquid into bottles.
+ Cap, seal, and label glass bottles.
+ Inspect bottles and ensure they meet quality standards.
+ Box, wrap, and pack glass bottles carefully.
+ Handle packaging, labeling, and stacking of boxes near the shipping area.
+ Document any quality issues or delays with shipments.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of manufacturing experience in production line work, packing, or operating machinery.
+ Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
+ Ability to lift 20 lbs sporadically throughout the day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1 year of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience in medical or food industries.
+ Experience with quality inspection and documentation.
+ Forklift experience is a plus and can assist the shipping team in loading trucks.
